That equality is often expressed by a man's attentiveness to his woman and appreciation for everything about her. If a woman doesn't feel like her partner values her feelings or appreciates all the things she does in a relationship (many of them for him), she'll be as unhappy as a man who feels he's inadequate at taking care of his loved ones.
